Eighth American to be Canonized
Mother Theodore Guerin , founder of the Sisters of Providence of St. mary-of-the-Woods in terre Haute, Indiana will become to 8th American to to be canonized in a ceremony October 15, 2006. This comes after a second miracle attributed to her and approval by Pope Benedict XVI.
