Road To 10,000 Losses: Phillies Get Flushed
The Phillies currently have 9,961 losses. This will make the Phlounderin' Phils the first major league baseball team to lose 10,000 games, and likely the first in any sport to do so. The closest competitor to the Phils for losingest team ever is the Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves, who have a comparatively low 9,640 losses.
