Presidential Candidates' Religions
Presidential candidates' religions - Yahoo! News
The saddest thing about this list? There are no Catholics who agree with the Church's position on the rights of the unborn. The best we can get out of them is a "personally opposed, but...." copout. (Don't think it's a copout? Imagine someone saying they were personally opposed to rape, but thought it should be left to an individual's choice.)

Hey Paul,
Are you suggesting that the religious practices of the candidate are important to you? It is pretty obvious that lefty news outlets like Yahoo news care about the candidates religion. And why wouldn't they be? They are filled with rage for the "Christian Right."
There are several good candidates that are pro-life such as Huckabee and Romney. I would hope that you would not let thier faith get in the way of your vote. After all, we are electing a president, not a priest.
But I get your point. Any Catholic that takes his faith seriously would not defend Roe.

Jordan, I actually have a post in the works on that exact topic. But to sum up: no, the precise religious practices of a candidate don't concern me as much as the policy stances they take. Better a pro-life atheist than a pro-abortion Catholic, for example.
This was just more of an expression of disappointment in our supposed Catholics.
