Quote of the Day - American Idol Edition
Did you watch American Idol? Am I missing something? I know there are some plain old attention seekers on there, but how is this part of the show not just a total humiliation of people who are mentally disabled? --Danielle Bean
I did watch part of the show, enough to know that the second guy on this page should be exiled from Delaware (and I actually did contact a Newark City Councilman I'm friendly with to that effect), and while I'm not sure I'd describe them as mentally disabled, there is a sort of mocking tone directed towards the contestant that is disconcerting. Granted, many of them deserve it, but we shouldn't be putting those people on the air.
